Delhi to Agra and back in one day
The Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and the Baby Taj in a single, well-planned day by private car.
6:00 a.m.: Pick-up from your Delhi hotel or the airport.
Drive: About 230 km each way, 3½–4 hours on the Yamuna Expressway, with a breakfast stop.
10:00 a.m.: The Taj Mahal with a licensed guide, about 2½ hours.
1:00 p.m.: Lunch in Agra.
2:00 p.m.: Agra Fort (1 hour), then the Itimad-ud-Daulah tomb, the 'Baby Taj' (45 minutes).
4:30 p.m.: Leave Agra; back in Delhi at about 8:30–9 p.m.
Tickets: Taj Mahal about ₹1,100 plus ₹200 for the mausoleum, Agra Fort about ₹650, Baby Taj about ₹310 (approx. 2026 prices for foreign visitors; Indian citizens pay much less).
Tip: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays. Bring only a phone, camera, passport and water inside; bags stay in the car.

No. It is currently around 1,300 rupees for foreign visitors including the mausoleum, paid at the gate or online. Agra Fort is separate. We do not include entrance fees on any of our tours.
Yes — it closes to tourists every Friday for prayers. Agra Fort stays open. If you are set on a Friday we will plan Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri and Mehtab Bagh instead, but we will always tell you first.
Yes, and people do. You need about twelve hours between landing and your next check-in to be comfortable. Tell us your flight numbers and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.
Not in the price. Guides are licensed and hired at the monument, usually 1,500 to 2,500 rupees. Our driver will point you to the official guide desk rather than to a tout. If you would rather we arranged one in advance, we will.
For the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort, yes. If you also want Fatehpur Sikri properly, or Itimad-ud-Daulah and the marble workshops, an overnight in Agra makes for a much less rushed trip and we can price that instead.
The car, the driver, all fuel, the expressway tolls both ways, the Agra state entry tax and parking. Not the monument tickets, meals or a guide.
