We are a family business that has provided private cars with English-speaking drivers across India and Nepal since 1996. You choose the route and the pace; we drive, handle the roads, tolls and permits for the car, and help you plan. Our strongest regions are north India and all of Nepal.
The car, the driver’s fee, fuel, road tolls, state taxes and the vehicle permits. Hotels, meals, monument tickets and local guides are not included, but we can arrange any of them for you at extra cost.
Not on road tours. Most guests book their own hotels, or we can book them for you at cost. On our treks in Nepal, accommodation is included.
Accommodation on the trail, all meals, a trekking guide and the trekking permits. Flights are not included, including the Kathmandu–Lukla flight for Everest treks.
Your driver knows the roads and the country well but is not a licensed monument guide. We can arrange licensed local guides at the main sites at extra cost. On treks, a trekking guide is included.
It depends on the route, the number of days and the size of the car. The price per person falls as your group grows. You can see current rates on our car and driver pages for India and Nepal and on each tour page, and we confirm a fixed price before you book.
Your price quote is free and comes with no obligation. A detailed day-by-day personal itinerary costs €100, and the full €100 is deducted from your tour price when you book.
Yes. Every trip is private, so you can add or drop places, change the pace and add rest days. Tell us what you want and we will price it.
Send us your dates and ideas. We reply, usually within 24 hours, with a fixed price. To confirm the booking you pay a 50% advance by bank transfer. The balance is paid by bank transfer or in cash. We do not take card or online payments.
Please send any cancellation to us in writing by email. If you cancel 60 days or more before your tour, we keep 15% of the total tour cost and refund the rest of your advance. Between 30 and 59 days the charge is 25%, and between 15 and 29 days it is 40%. Within 14 days of the start, or if you do not show up, the full advance (50% of the tour cost) is kept. A comfortable sedan for one or two travellers, an SUV for families and small groups, and a Tempo Traveller for larger groups. All are driven by our own experienced drivers.
Yes. Our drivers speak English and have driven foreign guests for many years.
Yes. Your driver can meet you at the airport or station where your tour starts and drop you off at the end.
No visa is needed, but you must carry a valid ID accepted at the border, such as a passport or a voter ID card. Rules can change, so please check the latest requirements before you travel.
Yes. Comprehensive travel insurance is required for every traveller, and for treks it must cover emergency evacuation.
