The 30-year difference

Not a booking site. A family you'll travel with.

For three decades we've walked the same temples, known the same guesthouse owners, and answered the phone at midnight when plans changed. That is what tailor-made really means.

Designed by locals, never algorithms

Every itinerary is hand-built by people who live between Delhi and Kathmandu.

Two countries, one seamless trip

Permits, transfers, guides and border crossings — all handled end to end.

Direct rates, honest pricing

No middleman markup — what you pay goes straight into your journey.

A real family who answered the phone at 11pm when our flight changed. That's the difference.

Questions travellers ask

Not on our road tours. Our income is the vehicle and the driver — we take no commission on hotel rooms, so we do not bundle them in and add a markup. You book the hotels you actually want, and we will book them on your behalf at cost if you prefer. Trekking trips are the exception: there, teahouse accommodation and all meals are included.

The private air-conditioned vehicle for your whole route, your driver every day, all fuel, every road toll and interstate or state tax, parking, route permits, and the driver's own meals and accommodation. Entrance fees, guides, meals, visas and flights are not.

Since 1996. We are a family business working across north India and Nepal. We began with one car and one driver, and a good share of our work still comes from people who travelled with us before or were sent by someone who did.

Yes. One vehicle and one driver stay with you from the first day to the last, whether that is two days or three weeks. We never combine parties and never hand you between drivers mid-route.

Yes — it is one of the things we are set up for, with vehicles and drivers on both sides. Sunauli and Kakarbhitta are the usual crossings. We handle the road logistics; the visa is yours to obtain and we will tell you exactly what is needed.

October to March gives the clearest skies and the most comfortable temperatures across most of both countries. April to June is genuinely hot on the Indian plains, and July to September is monsoon, which affects mountain roads. We will tell you honestly if your dates are a poor fit for the route you want.

We arrange the in-country road permits your route needs — that is part of the price. Your India and Nepal entry visas are yours to obtain; we will tell you what is required for your nationality, but we cannot apply on your behalf.

Driving is our core work and always has been. We have now added trekking and some high-altitude routes, with registered guides and porters. On those, accommodation, meals, guide and permits are included — unlike our road tours.

Within reason, and people often do. It is your vehicle and your driver — if you want an extra night somewhere or to skip a stop, say so. Anything that changes the total distance or number of days we will discuss and re-price fairly.

Talk to us. The prices here are a starting point, not a rigid tariff — send your dates, group size and route and you will get a real reply from a person rather than an automated quote.
