Tell our trip planner where you want to go and how long you have, and it will shape a journey out of the tours we actually run. It asks the questions a good travel agent asks — which places, how many days, what time of year, who is travelling and what you enjoy — and then hands everything to our family team, who come back to you with the price.
It will never quote you a figure or invent a hotel. Everything it describes comes from our own catalogue, and every price is worked out by hand by a person who knows the road.
We have arranged private journeys across India and Nepal for close to thirty years, as one family. The planner draws on that whole catalogue.
The classic Delhi–Agra–Jaipur route in four days, six days or seven unhurried days in a premium vehicle. Add Ranthambore for the tigers, or go further into Rajasthan, the Himalayan north, or the holy cities along the Ganges.
The Kathmandu Valley, Pokhara and Chitwan for rhino and tiger, or ten days across all three. For the mountains: the Everest Base Camp trek, the Upper Mustang trek to Lo Manthang, or Upper Mustang by 4×4 if a fortnight on foot is not for you.
Most travellers who come to us for both want the Taj Mahal and the Himalaya in one trip. That is what our India–Nepal journey does, and the planner can stretch or shorten it around your dates.
We are direct about this, because it is the difference between an honest price and a padded one.
On road tours, the price covers a private air-conditioned vehicle, an experienced English-speaking driver, fuel, all toll charges, state and interstate taxes, route permits, parking and your airport transfers. It does not include hotels, meals, guides, monument entry fees, visas or flights. You book the rooms you want, eat where you like, and pay only for the driving.
On trekking trips it works the other way. Teahouse accommodation, breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, a licensed trekking guide, porter support and all trekking permits are included. Domestic mountain flights, such as Kathmandu to Lukla, are arranged separately.
Anything on the excluded list we are happy to arrange for you at cost — hotels from three-star to heritage properties, licensed city guides, meals, monument tickets and safari permits. Ask the planner and it will note it down.
No. It gathers your requirements and passes them to us, and a member of the family works the price out by hand once we know the route. Every journey is private and priced for your party, so there is no shelf price to read out.
A conversation. Write in your own words. If you change your mind halfway through, say so and it will follow you.
No. It can only read our own catalogue of journeys and their real day-by-day itineraries. If you want something we do not already run, it says so honestly and passes the idea to the team, who build custom routes every week.
Four days is the shortest sensible Golden Triangle. Six to eight days lets you see it without rushing. Two weeks covers Rajasthan properly, or a Himalayan trek such as Everest Base Camp or Upper Mustang. Three weeks is enough for India and Nepal together.
October to March is the comfortable season across most of India and for Nepal’s trekking trails. Upper Mustang sits in the rain shadow behind the Himalaya, so it stays dry and walkable right through the summer monsoon when the rest of Nepal is wet.
Never. Every journey we run is private. The vehicle, the driver and the itinerary are yours alone, which is why the per-person price falls as your party grows.
Perfectly reasonable. Message us on WhatsApp or use the contact page and one of the family will answer. The planner is here to save you time, not to stand between us.
Tell us your dream trip and our family team replies with a fixed price, usually within 24 hours. A detailed day-by-day itinerary costs €100, deducted in full from your tour price.
